The situation concerning animals arriving from Ukraine is critical. Just like humans, animals also run the risk of being injured or losing their lives. Thousands of people have abandoned their homes, seeking refuge wherever they can, and very many of them are traveling with their beloved animals. Over 500 thousand people have already arrived in Romania, trying to find a safe haven.

Save the Dogs and other Animals is a nonprofit organization that operates in Eastern Europe and Italy to improve the wellbeing of the animals and of the communities in which the organization operates. We focus on preventing the birth of homeless puppies and kittens, providing veterinary care for animals in need, and educating communities about animal welfare.
